Saravana Catering

Saravana Catering is based out of No 14 in the Police Colony Complex on Tiruchendur Road. We are right opposite the Anandha Departmental Store in Palayamkottai. If you walk past in the morning, you can't miss the smell of onions frying or fresh sambar being made in the big vats. It’s a busy kitchen, and things start moving very early, usually before the sun is even up. We have big stoves and massive pots because we cook for a lot of people at once for various events. It’s hot and humid in the back, but that’s just the nature of catering. We don't have a fancy dining room since we mostly send food out to weddings and parties. The floors are always being mopped because things get spilled when you're moving fast with heavy containers. We’re a local team, and most of us have been cooking together for years now. Palayamkottai is a lively place, and being near the departmental store means there’s always people walking around. We don't use any special marketing tricks or have a big sales team. Most of our work comes from people who have eaten our food at a wedding or a party and liked it. We just focus on getting the flavors right and making sure the food is delivered on time. It’s hard work on your feet all day, but we enjoy seeing the empty pots come back at the end of a job. We just keep cooking.
