Badhuriyas Catering Services is tucked away near Jaba Garden in the Nggo Colony area of Tirunelveli. Our address is No 16, and it’s a place that feels more like a big home kitchen than a commercial office. We started this service because we liked cooking for people, and it just grew from there without us really planning for it to become a big business. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it is a bit quieter than the main town, which we actually like. Most of our work involves preparing large batches of food for family functions or community events. We have a small team of cooks who have their own ways of doing things, and we don't really interfere much as long as the food tastes right. There are always big containers being washed out in the yard and the smell of spices hanging in the air. Sometimes the delivery schedule gets a bit tight, especially on weekends when everyone seems to be having a party at the same time. We don't have a website or a marketing person; we just rely on the fact that people in Nggo Colony know where to find us. It’s a hands-on job, and at the end of the day, our aprons are usually covered in flour or stains. We just keep things simple and focus on the cooking at hand. We spend our evenings getting the containers ready for the next morning so we can start over again.
