Nellai Public School

The school is located at No 14 and 15 in Perumalpuram, Tirunelveli. It’s a residential neighborhood, so keeping things orderly is a priority so we don’t disturb the people living nearby. This place is a familiar sight for anyone who has lived in this part of the city for long. Our campus is modest, providing just enough space for the children to spend their day. Classrooms are filled with the usual items like maps on the walls and stacks of old notebooks. High-tech gadgets aren't really our thing; we mostly rely on books and the teachers' own voices. Most of the staff live right here in Tirunelveli, so they understand the local way of life. Advertisements claiming we are the best don't exist here. We just provide a place where kids can come and learn their lessons. Sometimes the office gets crowded when parents come to pay the monthly fees or check on how their child is doing. A small yard hosts the assembly every morning. The routine is simple: we sing the anthem, the headmaster says a few words, and then everyone heads to their rooms. Heat can be a bit much in the summer months, but we have enough fans to keep the air moving. It is just a normal, everyday school where work gets done without making a big fuss about things. We have been here for a long time.
