Dharani International School

Dharani International School is situated in Dharani Nagar, which is part of the Athuvazhi Post in Sivagiri Taluk. It’s quite deep into the Vasudevanallur area. The landscape around here is very rural, with lots of green space and open air. Our school is a big part of the local community. The building is a solid, two-story structure with wide corridors. We don’t have all the fancy gadgets you might find in a city school, but we have enough to get by. The classrooms have wooden desks and plenty of windows to let the breeze in. In the mornings, you can hear the birds and the sound of the wind before the students arrive. We have a lot of ground to cover, so there is always some yard work to do, like trimming the grass or clearing the paths. The office is usually full of paperwork and stacks of books waiting to be handed out. We handle everything ourselves, from fixing a leaky tap to organizing the schedule for the week. It’s a quiet place, far from the noise of the bigger towns. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just open the gates every morning and make sure everything is ready for the day. When the sun sets over the taluk, we close up the main building and head home, ready to do it all again the next morning.
