Iipe Laxmiraman Matriculation Higher Secondary School is out in Uthama Pandiyan Kulam, which is a bit of a distance if you are coming from the main part of Tirunelveli. We are tucked away in Burkitmanagaram. The school has been around for some time, handling everything from the younger kids up to the higher secondary levels. It is a busy place, especially during the exam seasons when everyone is a bit stressed. The building is not anything fancy to look at, but it has enough classrooms for all the grades we have here. We see a lot of students coming in from the surrounding villages every morning. The bus situation can be a bit chaotic at the start and end of the day, but we manage it. In the afternoons, the heat in Tirunelveli can get quite intense, so we try to keep the rooms as airy as possible. We do not really go for big advertisements or anything like that.
