Thirumalai Metal Corporation

You can find Thirumalai Metal Corporation over at No: 2415 in the Poonthottam area. We are on the Kajapettai Main Road in Palakarai. It’s a pretty lively neighborhood with a lot of small shops and people walking around. Our place is basically a big storage area for all the metal we handle. It can get quite cramped when a new shipment arrives. I’ve been working here for years and I still get confused by how much stuff we can fit into one small space. The street outside is always busy, so there’s a constant sound of horns and motorbikes. We don't have a reception desk or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone moving a pile of copper or brass. My hands are usually a bit greasy from handling the parts, so I’m always looking for a rag. We have a small fan that wobbles a bit, but it helps when the humidity gets high in the afternoon. Most of our neighbors are also in trade, so we all know each other fairly well. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy brochures. People just know we are here on the main road. It’s just about getting the metal weighed and sorted so we can move on to the next task for the day. It's nothing too special, just our daily routine in Palakarai. We stay open until the sun goes down, most days anyway.
