Arr Steels

Our shop is located at 19 Sub Jail Road in Palakarai. It’s a busy spot in Trichy, especially being near the Vandi Pettai and that Palakarai bus stop. You can always hear the buses pulling in and out throughout the day. At Arr Steels, we spend most of our time moving things around and checking the stock. The building isn't new, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves us well enough for what we do. We have a lot of regular people who come by because they know where we are. Dealing with steel means your hands stay dirty most of the day, but that’s just part of the trade. We don't have any air conditioning, so the summers in Trichy get pretty intense inside the shop. We usually have a big fan running, though it mostly just pushes the warm air around. There’s a tea shop just a few doors down where we go when we need a break. It’s just a normal business where we show up, do the work, and go home to our families. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have a lot of arrivals at once, but we eventually sort it out. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping the place running. It’s a simple life on Sub Jail Road, and we are happy with it.
