Siddhartha Matriculation School

You can find us right on Bazaar Street in Perambalur. It is a busy area with all the shops and people moving about, so there is always something going on outside our doors. The school has been part of this community for years. We occupy a building that has seen a lot of students pass through over time. The classrooms are filled with old wooden desks and the walls have plenty of student work pinned up. We follow the matriculation syllabus here. It’s a lot of work for the kids, but they seem to manage. Our teachers are busy from morning until evening. We don’t have a massive campus with a stadium, but the kids find space to play during their breaks. The bells ring loud enough for the whole street to hear. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. Parents often stop by to chat with the staff while they are out doing their shopping at the bazaar. It’s very much a local school where everyone knows everyone else. We focus on the lessons and making sure the students are ready for their exams. There is nothing too fancy about how we do things, just regular teaching in a familiar place. People know us as the school on the corner near the market. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day.
