Csi Methodist Girls Higher Secondary School

We are situated on Woraiyur Main Road in the Woriyur area of Trichy. This is an all-girls school and we cover everything up to the higher secondary levels. The campus is fairly large because we have so many students to accommodate. Being on the main road means it is easy for the girls to get here by bus or walking. It is a very old establishment with a lot of history in these walls. You can tell by the architecture and the way the courtyards are laid out. We have a lot of desks and long hallways that stay busy between periods. The staff room is usually a hub of activity with teachers grading papers or planning their next hour. We don't go in for much decoration; the focus is just on the lessons and the exams. Trichy gets very hot, so we appreciate the big trees we have in the yard. They give some relief during the lunch hour. It’s a noisy place when the final bell rings and hundreds of girls head for the gates. We deal with the usual school stuff like uniforms, attendance registers, and sports days. There isn't anything fancy about how we run things. We just follow the curriculum and make sure the girls have a safe place to study. People in Woraiyur have known this school for generations.
