Located on the Squam Campus right by the Pudukottai Highway, Om Shri Laxmi Narayan Vidya Mandir High School is easy to find. We are quite close to the Tiruchirappalli Airport, so you can often hear the planes overhead throughout the day. It’s something the students and staff have just gotten used to. The school building is pretty large, and keeping it tidy is a constant job. We spend our mornings checking the classrooms and making sure the teachers have what they need for their classes. It’s a high school, so there’s always a bit of stress around exam times. You can see it in the kids' faces when they walk through the gates. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just the usual charts and student work. Sometimes the bus arrival is a bit late due to the highway traffic, which causes a bit of a scramble in the lobby. We deal with things as they come. If a window breaks or a desk gets wobbly, someone from the maintenance crew fixes it when they get a chance. Life here in Trichy moves at its own pace. We try to keep the grounds decent, though the grass gets dry in the summer heat. It’s a practical place for learning. We aren't doing anything flashy. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks that keep a school running for the local families.
