New Grand Public School

New Grand Public School is sitting right at No 25/10 on Panchavarna Kovil Street. If you know Woriyur in Trichy, you know it can get pretty busy with the temple traffic. The 620003 area is one of those old parts of town where the streets are narrow but there is always something going on. Our building is right in the thick of it. In the mornings, you can hear the bells from the temple and the sound of the local market waking up. It is a bit of a squeeze getting the buses through sometimes, but we have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The school itself is a functional space. We do not have much room for a big playground, but we use what we have available. Inside the walls, it is mostly just the sound of teachers and students. Trichy heat is no joke, so we are always looking for ways to stay cool. We have been here at this address for a while now, and most people in Woriyur know the building. It is not some polished new facility; it is a place that has seen a lot of use over the years. We spend a lot of our time fixing things up or painting over the scuffs on the walls. It is just part of running a school in a busy city center. No big frills, just desks and boards and a lot of daily effort.
