Kamaraj Steel

Kamaraj Steel is located at 4690 in the Housing Board area of Jaihind Puram. It’s a lively neighborhood and we’ve been part of it for quite some time now. We handle a lot of metalwork and steel supplies right here from our shop. It isn't a massive warehouse, just a local spot where we keep our inventory and do some of the cutting. You’ll usually hear the sound of metal clanging or the saw running if you walk by during the day. We have a few guys who know their way around the materials, and we just get on with the tasks at hand. It gets pretty hot inside with all the steel around, especially in the afternoons. We don't really do the whole corporate thing; we just talk to the customers directly and help them find what they need for their projects. Whether it’s a small repair or a bigger building job, we try to be useful to the people who come in. The floor is usually covered in scrap pieces and metal shavings, which we sweep up at the end of every shift. We’ve seen a lot of houses in Jaihind Puram get built using some of our steel over the years. It’s a basic operation, but it keeps us busy and serves the people around here. We don't use any fancy sales tactics, just honest talk about what we have in stock. If we have it, we’ll sell it to you.
