G.R. Metal Crafts

G.R. Metal Crafts is located at No. 6 in the Palaniappa Complex on Karur Bypass Road in Trichy. Our shop is right on the busy bypass, so there is a constant stream of trucks and buses passing by outside. This means it’s always a little noisy and dusty, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Inside, the shop is filled with various metal items we have crafted, from small ornaments to larger household fixtures. It’s not a very big space, so we have to use the walls and every corner to store our materials and finished pieces. We don't have any high-tech machinery here. Most of what we do is done by hand using basic tools like hammers, chisels, and files. It takes a lot of time to get the details right, and our hands often get sore from the repetitive work. We don't have a fancy sales team or a catalog. People usually just stop by because they saw our sign while driving along the road. The lighting is a bit old-fashioned, and the shelves are made of simple wood that has darkened over time. We spend most of our day either working on a new piece or talking to people who want something custom-made. It’s a small, independent operation, and we just focus on doing our work day by day. There isn't much more to it than that.
