Golden Steels

Golden Steels is located at A.R. Plaza on Madurai Road in Palakarai. We are at number 57. It is a busy part of town and there is always something going on right outside our door. We sell steel products, mostly to local builders and small contractors in the area. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving pipes and beams around the yard. The office inside the plaza is where we handle the bills and the phone calls. We are not a corporate giant with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us trying to run a good, honest shop. Sometimes the phone does not stop ringing and other times it is quiet for hours on end. We have been here for a while and we know most of the people who come in. It is nice to have regular customers who just stop by to see what we have in stock that week. We do not have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure the steel we sell is what people actually need for their construction projects. The traffic on Madurai Road can be a real nightmare in the evenings. We usually try to get our deliveries out early to avoid the worst of the congestion. We keep our prices fair and try to be honest with everyone. (244 words)
