Vettiyar Mythri Farmer Producer Company Limited

Vettiyar Mythri Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of the Sks Building, specifically at 14/210 in Parakulangara. We share our space with the Vegetable and Fruits Promotion Council Keralam. It’s a practical arrangement because we are all working toward similar things for the local growers. The office is usually full of empty crates and lists of what’s being harvested this week. We don't have a lot of space, so things get stacked up pretty high against the walls. It’s a local operation, and we know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. Parakulangara is a good community for this kind of agricultural work. We handle the side of things that involves getting the vegetables and fruits to the markets. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on the status of the crops in the fields. We aren't a corporate giant with a big budget or fancy cars. We just use the resources we have in the Sks Building. Sometimes the fans don't work well and it gets hot in the afternoon, but the work continues regardless. We focus on the daily tasks. If a farmer has a problem with their produce, they come here to talk it out with us. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated management systems. It’s mostly just common sense and hard work. The building is a bit of a landmark for us now. We’ve been at this address for a while and plan to stay here for much longer.
