Growcerys Urban Farming Private Limited

We run Growcerys Urban Farming out of Veluthukkaran House in Uma Nagar. That’s in the Kalathode part of Ollukkara. It’s not a typical farm with tractors and big fields. Since we are in the city, we have to be smart about how we use the space around the house. It’s a Private Limited company, but mostly it’s just us getting our hands dirty every day. We spend a lot of time outside in the sun. We grow various things right here in the urban setting. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes. We have pipes for watering and trays of seedlings everywhere you look. People in the neighborhood often stop by to see what’s growing this month. We aren't professional gardeners with degrees; we just learned by making mistakes and trying again. Our office is basically the kitchen table where we do the invoices. It’s a simple operation without any corporate polish. We don't have a big fleet of trucks. Usually, it’s just one of us taking the produce to the local markets in a small van. The air in Kalathode is nice, and we like being part of the greenery here. We aren't doing this to get rich quick. We just like the work and the feeling of growing something real.
