Kadungallur Mythri Farmer Producer Company Limited is based at 1/106, Kavilppadi West in Kadungallur. We share space with the Vegetable & Fruit Promotion Council, which is a big help for a producer company like ours. Being in Kavilppadi West means we are right in the heart of the farming community here. Our office at No.1/106 is where the local farmers meet up to talk about how the season is going. It’s a simple room with a few tables and a lot of talk about weather and prices. We are a collective, so it’s all about people coming together to help each other out. It’s not a polished business environment. You’ll often see people in their work dhotis coming in to sign papers or ask for advice. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who try to keep the records straight and the meetings organized. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when everyone shows up at once, but we manage to get through it. The area around Kadungallur is full of hard-working people and we are just glad to be part of it. We don't have any fancy missions or slogans. We just try to make sure that the farmers in our group have a place to go and a way to sell their goods without getting taken advantage of.
