Kathir Producer Company Limited

Our company, Kathir Producer Company, is set up in the Palliyangadi area of Arimbur, which is within the Pananchery part of Thrissur. We are specifically located in Pattikad. It’s a lively part of the district, and being in Palliyangadi means we are right in the thick of the local farming community. We don't have a big, modern office building. Our space is pretty basic, just a place where we can meet up and talk about the business of being producers. There’s usually a lot of noise from the street and people stopping by to chat about the local harvest. We spend a lot of our time coordinating between different farmers in the Thrissur area, trying to make sure everyone is on the same page. The office is often a bit messy with paperwork and samples, but we know where everything is. We don't go for a lot of rules or a corporate structure that gets in the way of the work. Most of us have been farming for years, so we understand the practical side of things better than the office side. We just try to keep the books balanced and the members happy. Pananchery is a good place to be based because there’s a lot of history with agriculture here. We’re just trying to keep that tradition going in our own way, without making a big fuss about it. It’s just daily work and trying to do right by the producers in the neighborhood.
