Ticketing

My name is Misha and I run this small ticketing setup from the Poovassery House in Ponnore. It’s not a big shop with a sign or anything, just a room where I have my computer and printer set up. People from around the village come by when they need a train ticket or a bus seat to go to the city. I’ve lived here in Thrissur all my life so I know most of the people who walk through the door. Sometimes the railway website is very slow and we have to wait around and talk about the weather or the local news while the page loads. It’s a simple way to make a living and it helps out the older folks who don't really know how to use the internet on their phones. I try to be careful with the dates and the names because a small mistake can cause a lot of trouble at the station. The house is easy to find if you know the Ponnore area. I usually start work after the morning chores are done and stay at the desk until the evening. It’s mostly quiet except for the sound of the printer now and then. I don’t have fancy software, just the basic sites that everyone else uses. It’s just me here, making sure people get their tickets so they can travel without worrying too much about the booking process or internet connection problems.
