We are based out of Mangalath House, right on Pottayil Lane here in Thrissur. The name Edayan Rocks comes from our roots over in the Malampara area, but this house in Thrissur is where we do the daily office work now. It’s a lot of dealing with stone and heavy construction materials. It is dusty work sometimes, and your hands get rough if you're out looking at the supplies, but that is just how it goes in this line of business. We started small, just a few people trying to make a living. Now we spend our days talking to contractors and local people who are building their own houses. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical place to keep the records and meet folks. Thrissur is a good place to be, even if the traffic on the main roads gets a bit crazy during the festival times. We just stay here on the lane and keep at it. People know where to find us if they need something for their building projects. It's not a glamorous job at all, but it feels good to see the new houses going up using what we provide. We have a few trucks that come and go throughout the week. Sometimes things get delayed because of the weather or a breakdown, but we just deal with it as it happens. We're just guys trying to run a decent business.
