This outlet for Thomas Cook is located at Malayampurathupady House. We are in Valayanchirangara, which is near Perumbavoor in the Ernakulam district. Even though the name says Trichur, we are actually situated a bit further out in this house. It is a quiet area with plenty of trees around. We handle a lot of travel-related tasks like currency exchange and tour bookings. The office is set up inside the house, so it feels very much like a local spot rather than a big company branch. We have our desks and some chairs for people who come to visit. A lot of the work is done over the phone or through email these days. We don't have any fancy posters or big TV screens showing destinations. It is just us and our computers. People from the nearby villages often come to us because it is easier than going all the way into the city. We know the roads around here well.
