Our office is based out of Krishnaraj Therembath House in the Ollukara area of Thrissur. We go by Sree Sai Travels And Services. It is a family-run kind of thing, working right from the house. We spend our time booking tickets and helping people figure out how to get from one place to another. Thrissur is a busy place, and there are always people looking for buses or trains. We have a small desk set up with a computer and a printer that occasionally jams. It is not like those big travel agencies you see in the city malls. We know most of our customers by their first names because they live right down the street from us. When someone walks in, they usually sit down for a bit and talk about their plans. We don't have any slick brochures or high-tech displays. It is mostly just us looking up schedules and prices to see what works. Sometimes the phone rings late in the evening and we still answer it because that’s just how it is when you work from home. We keep track of everything in a few big ledgers and on the screen. It is a modest way to run a business. We have been here in Ollukara for years and the routine hasn't changed much in all that time.
