Our place is at Avanupurath House in P.O. Adat, which is in the Thrissur district of Kerala. The name we use is Professional, but we are just a few local people working from a home-based office. It’s a very quiet area with a lot of greenery around. We don’t have a big storefront or any bright signs. You just have to know where the house is. We handle a variety of local tasks and paperwork for people in the neighborhood. It’s a simple setup with a few desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We don’t really do any marketing or promotion. People just know to come here if they need help with something. We start our day early, usually when the sun is just coming up, and we finish whenever the work is done. Sometimes we sit on the porch to take a break and watch the birds. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear casual clothes and we don't have any strict rules about meetings. We just talk about what needs to be done and then we do it. It can get a bit slow during the monsoon season, but there is always something to catch up on. We’ve been in Adat for a long time and we like the slow pace of life here. It’s just a practical way to earn a living while staying close to home.
