You can find us at Door No: 659 in Udaya Nagar, which is actually part of the Nalupurakkal House. We are located in Punkunnam, a part of Thrissur that we’ve known forever. It’s not really an office in the way most people think of them. It is more of a home base for everything we do out on the plantations. Working with trees and land is a slow business. You plant something today and you might not see the result for years. That takes a certain kind of patience that not everyone has. We spend our days walking the grounds and making sure the soil is right and the pests are staying away. It gets quite hot in the afternoons here, so we usually take a break when the sun is at its highest. We are not a fancy operation with a lot of hierarchy. If something needs to be moved or dug up, we all just jump in and do it. We have been part of this community for a long time now. The house itself has seen many harvests over the years. We don't write big speeches or have a mission statement hanging on the wall. Our focus is just on the ground beneath our feet and making sure the trees stay healthy. It is hard work and sometimes the market isn't kind to us, but we keep going because it’s what we know.
