Hotel Cafe Casino

This is Rahul P B, and I run things for Hotel Cafe Casino from the Pooparambil House in Velappaya. We are located right in the Thrissur district of Kerala. Despite the name, we aren't a giant hotel with hundreds of rooms. It is more of a local operation where we manage different parts of the hospitality business from our home base. Velappaya is a decent place to work, though it can get pretty hot in the summer months. We spend a lot of time coordinating supplies and making sure everything is running okay with the catering and the guest side of things. The office is just a front room in the house where we have the computer and all the ledgers. It is a bit disorganized sometimes, with papers everywhere, but we know where everything is. My family helps out when things get busy, especially during the festival seasons when everyone is traveling. We don't use any fancy software, just basic stuff that gets the job done. It is a very hands-on kind of business. If someone has a problem, they usually just come to the house and talk to us directly. We like it that way because it keeps things simple. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Kerala, just a reliable one that people can trust when they need a place to stay or a meal.
