Our place, Coral 7 Farming Llp, is located at Xv/417 in Panampilly, which is quite close to the Cheenickal Temple. Being near the temple means we hear the bells and the activity from the morning onwards, which is a nice way to start the workday. We are tucked away in the Muringoor area of Chalakudy, right in the heart of Thrissur. The farming life here is honest work. It involves getting our hands dirty and dealing with the soil every single day. We do not use big words or have complicated systems; we just follow the cycles of the crops and the local weather. The humidity in Thrissur can be tough in the summer months, but that is part of the job. Most of us here grew up around farms, so this kind of life feels natural. We have a small team, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it is moving supplies or checking on the plants. The office is just a simple room where we keep our records and have our tea breaks. It is not a corporate environment at all. We just focus on the farming and making sure the land is taken care of properly. Sometimes we run into small problems with the equipment or the rain, but we figure it out as we go. It is a steady life, and we are quite content with the pace of things here in Muringoor.
