Cambata Aviation

I am over at Kokoori House in Chelakkara, specifically the Thandankavu area. The work here is for Cambata Aviation, which sounds like it should be at a big airport, but I handle my part of it from right here in Trichur. The Pin code is 680586. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city, but it’s a good, quiet spot to focus. My days are mostly spent dealing with the technical side of aviation services and making sure all the paperwork for the ground handling is in order. It’s a lot of lists and checking boxes. The house is quite traditional, and I’ve set up a small office space that stays relatively cool during the day. Sometimes the birds in the trees outside are so loud I have to close the windows to hear anything on the phone. It’s a bit of an unusual job for someone living in Chelakkara, but it works for me. I don’t have a big staff here, it’s mostly just me and the computer. People in the village sometimes ask what aviation work I could possibly be doing from a house, and I just tell them it’s all about the logistics. It is not a glamorous job with uniforms, just a lot of coordination to make sure things happen at the airport like they should. It takes a lot of patience to keep everything organized from out here, but it gets done.
