Wonder Kids

If you go down Judge Road in Karamana, right across from the QRS shop, you will find us at Janaki Nivas. Wonder Kids is a small place, really just a house at Tc 46/3391 that we use for the children. Thiruvananthapuram can be a busy city, but our little corner is tucked away enough that it feels safe for the toddlers. We started this because there was a need for a place where parents could leave their little ones while they go to work. It’s not a big corporate chain. It’s just us. We have colorful walls and lots of toys scattered around the rooms. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with all the crying and laughing, but that’s what happens when you have a bunch of kids in one house. We spend our days teaching them songs and how to share their snacks. The floors get dirty and we clean them up, then they get dirty again ten minutes later. It’s a very hands-on job. Most people find us because they live in the neighborhood or they pass by the Judge Road intersection every day. We don't have a big fancy office, just a desk where we talk to parents about their child's day. It’s a simple, local spot for the kids in Karamana to spend their morning hours before they go home for their naps. It feels like a second home for them.
