Chempaka Kindergarten

We are located right on the Murinjapalam-Kumarapuram Road, just a short walk from the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. Most people around here know our building, Annexe Vi. It’s a busy area, but once you step inside our gates, it gets much quieter. We’ve been running this kindergarten for a while now, and some days are louder than others depending on what the children are up to. Usually, the mornings start with a bit of a rush as parents drop their little ones off before heading to work or the hospital nearby. We have a small staff and we mostly just focus on making sure the kids are safe and have something to do all day. It’s not a fancy place, but we have enough toys and space for them to run around. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy in the yard, but we manage. You’ll see us out there cleaning up or setting up for the next day after the kids leave. We deal with the usual stuff like scraped knees and snacks that end up on the floor. It’s just how things go when you work with small children. People in the neighborhood often stop by to chat or ask about enrollment. We try to keep things simple and honest here. It’s just a local spot where children can spend their early years while their parents are busy. We don't have a big office or anything, just our classrooms and the playground. It’s a lot of work but it feels right to be here.
