Children'S Palace School

You can find us over in Kamaleshwaram, specifically in the Kochupally area at Charummoottil. We are a school in Thiruvananthapuram that focuses on the younger children, so as you can imagine, it gets very loud around here during the day. There is always a lot of energy with kids running around and playing in the yard. We have a small building that has been part of this neighborhood for quite some time. The staff here are used to the chaos that comes with little ones. We don't have any of those fancy high-tech gadgets you see in some of the newer schools; we just use traditional stuff like toys and blocks and drawing paper. Parents from around the Charummoottil area usually just walk their kids over in the morning before they head to work. Thiruvananthapuram is a busy city, but our little corner feels a bit more like a local neighborhood spot. We spend a lot of time just keeping the kids safe and making sure they are learning their basic letters and numbers. It’s a lot of work and your head can hurt by the end of the day, but it’s what we do. We just keep things simple and try to make sure every child has a place to sit and something to do while they are under our roof. It is just a normal day here.
