Infant Jesus Kindergarten

Our little place is tucked away at 2189, near Mullava Junction in Vanchiyoor Po. It is a bit of a noisy area because of the traffic, but once you get inside the gates, things quiet down a little. We have been here for years, watching the kids grow up and move on to the bigger schools nearby. The building itself is an older one, with those thick walls that stay somewhat cool even when the sun is beating down outside. Every morning, there is a lot of activity at the entrance. Parents are dropping off their little ones, and there is always someone forgetting a water bottle or a bag. It can be a bit chaotic for those first few minutes. We try to keep everything moving so the street doesn't get too blocked up. Inside, we have rooms filled with small chairs and tables. There are drawings taped to the walls and toys scattered in the corners. It is never really silent here, except maybe for a short time during the afternoon nap. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after snacks and making sure the outdoor play area is safe. The garden has a few trees that give us some shade, which is nice in the summer. We are just a local spot where children come to spend their day while their parents are at work. It is simple, but it works for us and for the families around here.
