Mother Teresa Play School & Kindergarten

Our play school is set up in Johnson Cottage, located on the Kannammoola Medical College Road in Thiruvananthapuram. It’s a small, cozy place where we look after toddlers and young children before they are ready for the bigger schools. The house is filled with toys, small tables, and plenty of drawings that the kids have made. Since we are near the medical college, many of our families work in the surrounding area. The day usually starts with a lot of energy as the parents drop their little ones off. We spend our hours playing games, learning the alphabet, and making sure everyone gets their lunch. It isn't a stiff or formal environment. It feels more like a busy home where there’s always something going on. We have a small outdoor space for the kids to run around when it’s not too hot. Thiruvananthapuram can be quite warm, so we spend a lot of time indoors too. Our staff has been doing this for a while, so we’re used to the noise and the occasional mess that comes with a room full of four-year-olds. We don't have a big corporate office or a polished front desk. Usually, you’ll just find one of us helping a child with a puzzle or tidying up the blocks. It’s a simple, practical setup for local families who need a safe place for their kids during the day.
