Vayalil Vegeterian Hotel

Vayalil Vegeterian Hotel is situated at Tc 28/1643, inside Vayalil Plaza. We are right in the Enjakkal area of Thiruvananthapuram, very close to the bypass. Being near the bypass means we get a lot of people who are just driving through or commuting to work. We only serve vegetarian food here. That’s been our thing since we opened up. It's a simple setup. We have the kitchen in the back and the dining area out front. Nothing too special about the layout, but it works for us and our customers. We stay busy during the morning hours with tea and breakfast. Then it picks up again for lunch. We aren't a big chain. It's just a local spot where we try to keep the vegetables fresh and the rice hot. The plaza itself is easy to find if you're looking for it. We don't have a lot of staff, so everyone does a bit of everything, from taking orders to cleaning up. It gets a little hectic when the lunch rush hits, but we manage. We’ve been in Thiruvananthapuram for a good while and know the local tastes. We don't use any complicated recipes. It’s just honest cooking for people who want a veg meal. We’re glad to be a part of the Enjakkal community and see our regulars every day. It is just us here, working hard to get things ready.
