It is a very busy street with people constantly moving between the station and the different shops. We spend our days managing the cars and talking to drivers. It gets quite hectic sometimes, especially when the trains are coming in. The office is small but it serves its purpose. We have some old chairs for people to sit on while they wait. Thiruvananthapuram heat can be tough, so we usually have the windows open to catch a breeze. We do not do much advertising. Most people just know us because we have been on S S Kovil Road for a long time. There is a lot of shouting and horns honking outside, but we are used to it by now. It is just the sound of the city. We keep our records in big ledgers and on the computer too. It is a lot of coordinating to make sure everyone gets where they need to go. We drink tea and talk about the traffic or the weather.
