Tickting/Reservation Executive

I work out of Kidangial House in Chadayamangalam. It’s where I handle all the ticketing and reservation stuff. It’s not a big travel agency office in the middle of a mall. It’s just me and a computer in our family home. I’ve been doing this for a while, helping people get their flights and trains sorted. Being in Kollam, a lot of folks around here need help with their travel plans, especially for work abroad. I spend most of my day on the phone or checking screens. Sometimes the internet is slow, which is frustrating when someone is waiting. I try to find the cheapest dates, but it’s not always easy with the way prices jump around. My neighbors usually just walk over when they need a booking. It’s a very informal way of doing business. I keep all my records in a big ledger and on the PC. Chadayamangalam is a small place, so news travels fast if I get a good deal. I don't have a receptionist or fancy furniture. Just a desk and a chair. It gets busy during the holiday seasons. I have to stay up late sometimes to catch the time zones for international tickets. It’s just a regular job for me. I’m glad I can help people from my own house. It saves them a trip to the city. I just keep things honest and tell people the price as it is.
