The Travancore Heritage

We are located out in Chowara. Our mail goes through the local P.O. there. It is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the bigger cities. The Travancore Heritage has been part of this area for quite a while. We don't have any big corporate offices or polished managers. It is just a few of us taking care of the property. The work is never ending. We spend our days fixing things that break and making sure the grounds aren't overgrown. It is a lot of physical labor. The weather here can be unpredictable, which makes keeping the place up a challenge. We don't use any fancy marketing language to talk about what we do. We just look after the buildings and the people who come to stay. It is a slow pace of life in Chowara. We like it that way. We don't try to rush things. Sometimes the roof leaks or the garden needs more work than we have time for. We just do our best. It’s an honest way to live and work. People come here when they want to get away from the noise. We just provide the space and let them be. There are no big speeches about our values or anything like that. We just wake up, do the work, and hope for a good day. It’s just a regular heritage spot run by regular people. We keep the doors open and the lights on. It takes a lot of effort to keep things looking okay.
