The Leela Kempinski, Kovalam

Our setup for The Leela Kempinski, Kovalam is actually handled from over here at F-10, Madhuban Colony in Jaipur. It is right by Tonk Phatak. Naveen Sharma stays busy here keeping things organized and making sure everything is in the right place. It is a bit of a distance from the coast, but this is where the paperwork and all the behind-the-scenes stuff happens for us. The office isn't much to look at, just a regular spot in the colony. We have a lot of files and a couple of old wooden desks. Sometimes it gets quite noisy outside with the traffic from Tonk Phatak, but we have gotten used to it over the years. People ask why we are in Jaipur when the name says Kovalam, but it is just how the business ended up being structured for our branch. We have been at this address for a while now. It is a lived-in space with plenty of history. There is always some tea being made in the back and phones ringing throughout the day. We do not have a big lobby or fancy uniforms here. It is just us in Madhuban Colony doing what needs to be done to keep things running. It is practical and simple. We do not spend money on fancy decorations because we would rather just get the work finished correctly. If you come by, you will see it is a quiet neighborhood mostly. We know the neighbors and they know us.
