The Leela Kempinski Kovalam

We are located at Karthika in Anayara. It's a part of Thiruvananthapuram that isn't as crowded as the city center, but it stays busy enough for us. Working here for The Leela Kempinski Kovalam means we handle a lot of the background stuff that people don't usually see when they visit the coast. The office is just a regular building really. We spend most of our mornings getting things sorted before the heat kicks in. There's a tea shop down the road that everyone goes to around eleven. Most of us have been here a few years now. You get used to the pace. It’s not like those fancy corporate offices in the big hubs. We just sit at our desks and get the job done. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power cuts out for a minute, but we manage. People think it’s all luxury because of the name, but here at the Anayara office, it's just regular work life. We have a small parking area that gets tight if everyone shows up at the same time. The rains can be heavy in this part of Kerala, so we always keep umbrellas by the door. It’s a quiet life mostly, just doing the administrative bits and making sure things run like they should behind the scenes. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the gate. It's just us doing the daily grind and keeping track of things.
