The Leela Kempinski Kovalam Beach

The hotel is situated right out by Kovalam beach. It’s a big place, honestly, but we try to keep things running smooth for everyone who comes through the doors. Being in Trivandrum district means we get a lot of locals and people from further away too. The zip code is 695527 if you’re trying to mail something here or put it in the GPS. It’s quite a view of the water from where we are sitting. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know the corners of the building pretty well. Things can get a little hectic during the peak season when the beach is crowded, but that’s just how it is in Kerala. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are tidy and the grounds look okay. Sometimes the salt air from the ocean makes maintenance a bit of a constant job, but we stay on top of it. It’s a lot of walking back and forth across the property every day. People come here to see the waves and stay at The Leela Kempinski Kovalam Beach because of the location mostly. We don't go in for much of that fancy talk, we just focus on the daily tasks. If you are looking for us, just follow the main road down toward the water. We are right there at the end.
