Tata Group

The office is based in the Seema Industrial Estate over in Pappanamcodu. It is part of the Trivandrum area, but it feels a bit different than the main city. We are listed as Tata Group here, but we are just a small part of the whole thing. The industrial estate is a busy place with a lot of trucks moving in and out all day long. Our building is simple and practical. We do not have any of those big glass windows or fancy lobbies. It is mostly just concrete and some sturdy desks. We spend our time checking on shipments and making sure the paperwork for the Kerala region is handled correctly. Sometimes the rains are so heavy that the roof makes a lot of noise, and we have to raise our voices to hear each other. We do not mind it much. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle for making tea. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the others like their drinks. We do not use much corporate talk. We just say what needs to be done and then we do it. The furniture is a bit old and the chairs squeak when you sit down. It is a real place where real work happens every day. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the tasks.
