Sv Granite And Tiles

Our shop, Sv Granite And Tiles, is sitting at 9/A, right near Ammankovil in Nedumangad. It is a busy little spot, especially with people going to the temple nearby. We spend most of our mornings unloading boxes of tiles and making sure the granite slabs are standing upright and safe. There is always a bit of sand or dust on the floor from the stone, but that is just how it goes in this trade. People from around the neighborhood stop by when they are finally getting around to fixing their bathrooms or kitchens. We do not have a big fancy showroom with bright lights, just the stacks of tiles and the samples we have on hand. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a minute to sit on the crates. It’s hard work moving these things around because they are heavy and you have to be careful not to chip the edges. My hands are usually rough from handling the stone all day. We have been here for a bit now, and we know most of the people who walk past the front door. We keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through. It’s a simple setup.
