Corner Stone Granites

Corner Stone Granites is tucked away over at Trinity Hill in Poovada. It's a quiet area mostly, near the Naruva Mooou P.O. If you’re heading up the hill, you’ll run into us eventually. We deal in granite slabs and blocks. It is heavy work and we spend a lot of time outside or in the shed moving pieces around. The weather up here on the hill can be a bit different than down in the main town, but we’re used to it. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us because someone told them we have what they need for their floors or counters. We aren't a polished showroom with air conditioning and fancy lights. It’s a working yard where things get dirty and the work is real. We’ve been here for a while and seen the area change a bit, but the stone business stays pretty much the same. You cut it, you move it, you sell it. We keep our overhead low and just focus on the inventory we have on hand. Sometimes we get some really nice patterns in, and other times it’s just the standard stuff everyone wants. It's a simple life out here in Poovada. We wake up, open the gates, and see what the day brings. Most of the time it’s just local builders stopping by to check prices or see if a delivery came in. We just stay focused on the stone and the work.
