Down at 12/1 Santhigiri Road, things are usually pretty busy with the production of interlock tiles. Shine Interlocks Pvt. Ltd. isn't a fancy place; it’s a site where we focus on getting the mix right and making sure the molds are set properly. You can find us working outside for a lot of the day, especially when we are moving the finished blocks into stacks for curing. Santhigiri Road is a decent location for us because the trucks can get in and out without too much trouble, though it gets a bit muddy when the rains come. We have a small office on-site where we keep the paperwork, but most of us prefer being out where the actual work is happening. People stop by to see the different patterns and colors we have available for their driveways or pathways. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, someone sees a neighbor’s new driveway and asks where they got the blocks, and that’s how they find us. It is a lot of heavy lifting and getting your hands dirty, but it is satisfying to see a pile of raw materials turn into something solid that people can walk on for years. We just try to keep the machines running and the customers happy by being honest about what we can do and when we can deliver. It isn't always easy work, but we like doing it anyway.
