St Josephs High School

St Josephs High School is right in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram, specifically at the General Hospital Junction. Our pincode is 695001. Because of where we are, it’s always very busy outside the school gates. There are ambulances, buses, and people everywhere. The school building is quite old and has a lot of history to it. We have several floors of classrooms and a small courtyard in the middle. It can get a bit loud with all the traffic noise, but the students and teachers have learned to ignore it over the years. We have a large number of students because our location is so central. The hallways are usually crowded during the breaks. We don't have a lot of modern frills; we just stick to the traditional way of teaching. Our staff is used to the fast pace of being in the city center. We have a lot of paperwork to manage, and the office is almost always busy with something or other. Despite the chaos of the junction outside, once you’re inside the classrooms, things are more focused. We’ve been a landmark at the General Hospital Junction for a long time, and many people in the city have some connection to this school. It’s just a hardworking city school doing its job every day. The morning bell and the afternoon whistle are part of the daily city sounds.
