Travancore National School

We are located at Gate No. K 196 on Kochar Road in Sasthamangalam. Travancore National School has been operating here in Thiruvananthapuram for several years. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of activity around the school gates, especially in the mornings. The school itself isn't a massive campus, but we make the most of the space we have. We have several floors with classrooms and a small area for the staff office. You can usually find a few of us sitting there dealing with admissions or just catching up on paperwork. The sounds of the city are always in the background, but once the kids are in their classes, it settles down a bit. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles; it’s just a place for learning. The teachers here have been with us for a long time, so they know how we like things done. We have a steady stream of students from the local neighborhood and further out. On rainy days, the entrance gets a bit cramped with everyone trying to get inside with their umbrellas. It’s just a normal school day here, day in and day out. We focus on the curriculum and making sure the students are prepared for their exams. There's nothing too complicated about how we run things. We just provide a place for education in the heart of Sasthamangalam and keep our doors open for the kids.
