Sandeepani School

Sandeepani School sits right in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram, tucked away in Rkv Lane near Museum Junction. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets around the Kanakakannu Palace Road. We are located at No.Tc-11/2194, which is a bit of a maze if you are coming here for the first time. The school isn't very big, but we make the most of the space we have. You can hear the city traffic from the classrooms, but once the kids start their lessons, that mostly fades into the background. It’s an old part of town with a lot of history. Being so close to the museum means there are always people moving around outside. Our staff usually walks to work or takes the local buses that stop nearby. The building itself has seen many rainy seasons, and the walls have that weathered look you see all over Kerala. We don't have a giant playground, but the students find places to run around during their breaks. It is a bit cramped sometimes when everyone is arriving in the morning, especially with the narrow lane. We spend a lot of time just keeping things running smoothly, from fixing leaky taps to making sure the benches are straight. It is a simple place where we focus on the daily routine of teaching. Most parents live in the surrounding neighborhoods, so there’s a real local feel to everything we do here.
