Viswaprathibha English Medium School

Our school is located in the Sankers Building on Ooruttambalam Road. This is in the Malayankeezhu area of Thiruvananthapuram. It is a bit away from the main city rush, which is nice for the students who come here. The building is a typical local structure, nothing too modern or flashy. We have been here for a while and the neighborhood has grown up around us. You can see the green trees from the windows, which makes the classrooms feel a bit more relaxed. The road outside can get a bit busy during the morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times. Parents usually come on their scooters or walk their kids to the entrance. Inside, it sounds like any other school—lots of chatter, the sound of chairs scraping on the floor, and teachers calling out names. We have the usual notice boards with old charts and drawings pinned up. It is a place where we just focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids are safe and learning. Sometimes the rain in Kerala is so heavy that we can barely hear ourselves talk over the sound on the roof. We just wait it out and continue with our work. It is a simple life here at the school. We don't have big budgets for marketing, so we just rely on people in the area knowing who we are and where to find us in the building.
