New India English Medium Public School

If you go down to Vembayam in Thiruvananthapuram, you will find New India English Medium Public School. It’s a local school where we mostly know everyone by name. The mornings are always a bit of a rush with the kids arriving in their uniforms. We have a lot of different classes going on at once. It’s not always quiet. In fact, it’s usually quite the opposite. Teachers are busy planning lessons, and the staff handles everything from fixing chairs to making sure the playground is safe. We are right here in the heart of the community. People around here trust us with their children, and we take that seriously, but we don't make a big show of it. It’s just daily life. The school building has been through many seasons. Sometimes we paint a wall, or fix a leak when the rains get heavy. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just teach. Kids play outside during the break, and then it’s back to the books. We focus on the English medium part because that’s what parents want for their kids' future. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too grand, just a solid place for children to learn their ABCs and everything else after that. You see the same faces every year. We are just a regular part of the neighborhood, and we like it that way. Everyone just helps out where they can.
