Sri Gavuri Nivas Hotel

Our hotel is located on the Medical College to Ulloor Road in Thiruvananthapuram. The address is Tc 2/642(5-10), and we are right next to the Gavuri Nivas restaurant. Because we are so close to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, most of the people who stay with us are there because of the hospital. It’s a very busy and sometimes stressful area for our guests, so we just try to provide a simple place for them to sleep and wash up. We don't have any of the fancy things you might find in a big tourist hotel. There are no pools or gyms here, just clean rooms with beds and fans. We spend a lot of our day doing laundry and cleaning the rooms after guests check out. The reception area is quite small and we handle everything ourselves. Sometimes the road outside gets very noisy with ambulances and traffic, but that is expected given where we are. We have a few different types of rooms depending on what people need. It is a functional place meant for people who need to be near the hospital for a few days. We try to keep the prices reasonable because we know many of our guests are dealing with a lot. The building has been here for a while and it shows its age in some spots, but we do our best to keep things working. It is a straightforward operation and we just focus on the basics every day.
