Sr. Cargo Offficer

I work out of a place called Thundu Vilayil, which is located in Velloor. This is over in the Koithoor Konam area, specifically near the P.O. in Pothencode. It’s way down in Trivandrum, Kerala. Being a Sr. Cargo Officer means there is always something to keep track of. The office is really just a simple setup in a quiet part of the village. It isn't like those huge shipping hubs you see in the movies. It is more about local logistics and making sure things get from one point to another without getting lost in the system. The roads around Pothencode can be a bit narrow, so sometimes getting larger deliveries sorted takes a bit of extra planning. I spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at manifests. Kerala weather means we deal with a lot of rain during the monsoon, which can slow everything down. We just deal with it as it comes. The people around here in Velloor are friendly, and most of them have lived here their whole lives. It is a slow-paced life outside of the cargo work. I usually start early in the morning when it is still a bit cool. The Thundu Vilayil building is easy to find if you know the landmark near the post office. It is just me and a couple of others usually, making sure the cargo moves as it should. Nothing fancy, just hard work.
